“Writing Your Life”
Robyn Henk, Writer, Speaker, and Trainer

No matter what your genre, from non-fiction Christian Living to novels, from poetry to children’s books, from short stories to magazine articles, our base of reality and truth lies hidden in our own life experiences. Learning how to write from the truth of your life and developing a perspective from your own background will give your writing style a foundational sense of truth. As Christian writers, we all need to know how to see God through and in our life experience – to go beyond our testimony to our “God-story.”

“Writing Effective Bible Studies for Today”
Robyn Henk, Writer, Speaker, and Trainer

More and more Christian Living books are being released with accompanying small group study guides, and according to the Walk Through the Bible Organization, 3 out of 4 Pastors want small group studies for their church. Writing effective Bible Studies that will light up the Word of God in a way that will change lives will not only increase your writing base, but also will deepen the writer’s own ability to correctly and effectively use scripture to add significance and depth to their work.

“Creating a Publishing Brand”
Chip MacGregor, Literary Agent

What is a brand, and how does an author establish one? In this workshop, we’ll
explore the current marketing trend toward author branding and how it can help you with your writing career. Rather then being merely an intellectual discussion,
we’ll do some hands-on work to help you define, research, evaluate, and make plans
to launch your brand.
